I’m not happy with this one, but it isn’t the mount’s fault. I wasn’t happy with my M101 images with the NJP, either. It’s just too dim to dig out from these urban skies. Nonetheless, here it is.

I enjoy your nice pictures using LX 850 mounts.
But it is not clear whether you depend on Starlock for guiding.
Many people are interested in LX 850 mount because of Starlock.
Could you give more picture using Starlock as guider?

Hi, Thomas.
I have never connected another guider to this mount. Any image published here or anywhere else using my LX850 was guided by Starlock. So far, the only camera I have used with this mount is the QSI683WSG-8 and the only OTA been the AT12RC (12″ F/8 RC).
